Stage-wagon system at the Opera House in Düsseldorf – application by Schweizer Electronic AG

For the Deutsche Opera am Rhein, Swiss specialist Eberhard Bühnen AG has built five battery-powered stage wagons operated by remote radio control. The wagons can be connected lengthways, allowing a stage wagon of 14 x 12.5 m with an integrated turntable of 11 m diameter to be formed. The wagons are freely mobile without the necessity for external guidance. Read more! |

The requirements included an exchangeability guarantee which called for the definition of various types of light curtain and the specification of server classes, profiles and standardized software components.
