Solidarity for Japan

We are all deeply saddened by the tragic events in Japan and would firstly like to send our sincere sympathy to the victims of this catastrophe and to their relatives. Our thoughts go out to all our employees in the Japanese subsidiary of Safety Network International e.V. and their member companies who are faced with this distressing and difficult situation. We admire their incredible courage in dealing with this terrible situation and hope that in time they are able to overcome the enormous impact of this catastrophe.

The newly revised version of the SafetyNET p brochure is now available. This new version of the brochure provides an introduction into the topic of Industrial Ethernet and offers a deeper insight into the technical advantages of the real-time Ethernet systems SafetyNET p. In particular, the main emphasis was placed on the operation of the system.

Safety Network International e.V. at the HANOVER TRADE EXHIBITION 2011

The HANOVER TRADE EXHIBITION 2011 took place from the 4th to the 8th April. This trade exhibition has been a leading market place for pioneering technologies for the past 60 years. The user organisation showed the versatility of the SafetyNET p system and other current topics such as safe wireless transmission. With SafetyNET p RTFL, Safety Network International proved that fast real-time communication is possible with the motion control function.

Traditional, but safe– Dresden’s Cable Railway runs smoothly and safely

Dresden’s Cable Railway is a prime example of German engineering: despite celebrating its 110th Anniversary this year, it is equipped with no less than state-of-the-art safety technology. The automation system PSS 4000 together with the real-time Ethernet System SafetyNET p both play an active role in controlling the signals and therefore the safe arrival of the passengers.

When wiring industrial communication systems, particular emphasis is placed on the robustness and easy handling of the connection technology.
