Safety Network International e.V. welcomes a new member: Cooperation with the BdNI - Bildungsinitiative der Netzwerkindustrie (Education Initiative in Network Industries)

Ostfildern, May 2013 The topic safety is becoming more and more important for design and installation quality within the field of automation, thus extending beyond the scope of the product level. A cooperation between the BdNI and Safety Network International e.V. was therefore an obvious next step. One of the objectives of the cooperation is the possibility of developing interesting new training courses.

Founded in the year 2000, has the Japanese organisation has developed from year to year into a permanent institution within the Japanese automation market? At Safety Network Japan, special attention is paid to the collaboration and cooperation with public institutions and universities.

Achieving more Together – Safety Network International Members’ Meeting at the sps ipc drives

Nürnberg, November 2012 The Safety Network International e.V. general members’ meeting took place on the 28th November 2012 during the sps ipc drives in Nürnberg. Topics on the agenda included a presentation by this year’s newly founded technical committee and workgroups, and the chairperson’s report on finances and projects for the year 2013.

SafetyNET p Certification 2012 – Quality Seal “Certified for SafetyNET p” Successfully Awarded

This year, devices and equipment from the member companies have once again passed the SafetyNET p conformity tests successfully. Particular highlights are the certifications of the ATEX Switch from PRIMATION Systemtechnik and the Access point AWK 5222 from the manufacturer Moxa. The tests were carried out in the Safety Network International e.V. testing laboratory.

The new chairman has been officially elected for the Safety Network International e.V. board

Ostfildern, September 2012 Jochen Streib has been unanimously elected as chairman at Safety Network International e.V. During the member’s meeting on 18th September 2012 in Stuttgart, Yannick Le Héno’s successor was able to introduce his objectives and actions to all members present, in his role as first chairman of the executive board.
