CONNECTED – The second issue of the magazine

After the success of the first issue which was released for the SPS/IPC/Drives 2007 the second issue is due to follow in time for the Hanover Trade Fair 2008. For the first time in both German and in English.

The main topic area in the second issue is SafetyNET p technology with solutions for complete automation. Apart from the wiring of SafetyNET p, the use of CANopen Profiles will also be addressed. Another main focal point is Japan as partner country for this year’s Hanover Trade Fair. CONNECTED gives an insight into Japan’s regional automation market and reports on Safety Network Japan’s successful work.

CONNECTED, the magazine for Safety and Automation is an information medium for operators of automation solutions with industrial communication systems and higher safety orientation. It is directed at operators of automation solutions, system integrators, universities & research facilities and manufacturers of automation machines.

CONNECTED is a magazine which is free of charge, published by Safety Network International e.V and unites two current trends in automation: Industrial communication / industrial Ethernet and Safety & Security.

CONNECTED gives its readers additional benefit with reports on current topics (e.g. international norms and standards, new products or current projects and events.)

The magazine is released twice a year. The next issue is due in time for the SPS/IPC/Drives in November 2008.
